I’m Ye, a 39-year-old with roots in China who ventured to Berlin in 2014 to pursue my MBA at ESMT Berlin. After working in various senior talent roles in companies for more than 15 years, I finally took the leap to start my own coaching business, Ye Sheng Coaching, at the end of 2022.
Here’s a fun fact about me that only a few people know: I quit my job in 2018 to start my own business but got scared and went back to corporate life. However, I’ve since conquered my fears and built my coaching business, which fills me with immense pride.
As a certified professional career coach, my special focus is helping high-achieving international women who have established themselves aboard to succeed on their own terms. I’m not a typical career coach because I don’t just work with CVs and interviews. My passion lies in partnering with individuals to find fulfillment, success, and balance in their professional lives.
Why am I so passionate about this?
As a high-achieving woman from China and living in Berlin, I’ve experienced both external success and internal struggles. I’ve led teams, earned impressive salaries, and climbed the corporate ladder. However, I’ve also battled sleeping disorders, anxiety, and burnout alongside those accomplishments. In fact, the period when I achieved the most outward success was when I suffered the most internally. I hired coaches, learned about myself, and healed step by step. Now, I want to help others who have been through similar experiences.
Why am I qualified to help you?
I bring decades of experience in talent strategy/management from various companies, including Fortune 500 corporations and startups. My own rich corporate background allows me to deeply understand your world and the challenges you face because I’ve walked that same path. Moreover, I’ve also trained with iPEC Coaching, a top coaching school (with 320 ICF-accredited training hours), and I have over 400 hours of direct 1:1 coaching experience under my belt.
